This can be used to track inflation and cost of living over time, in relation to minimum wages. Ultimately, we do find that there isn't a strong relation between the two but it is still interesting to see how the two go hand-in-hand in a certain state. Like New York or California where cost of living is very high. Is the minimum wage in these states enough to keep the average cisitzen afloat? Or are they drowning, living paycheck to paycheck.
